The Choir of the Royal Hospital School join the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and John Rutter at the Ipswich Regent on Friday 10 December 2010.
Our 130-strong choir last performed with the RPO at the Royal Albert Hall in December 2009. They were invited by the eminent composer and conductor, Dr John Rutter CBE, after he witnessed their talents when asked to open the new music school.
One parent who attended the performance said; "I had never heard the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra playing live before so this was a wonderful first for me. They were phenomenal and were so capably and wonderfully accompanied by the children that I was even more thrilled to witness it. The children and staff at RHS put so much into all that they do and they fully deserve any praise or accolade that they receive and especially so in this case..”.
As a result of their outstanding performance last December, they have now been invited to accompany the RPO at the Ipswich Regent on Friday 10 December 2010.
